We saw many locals inside during our visit to Kampung Baru so we decided to try it. For our surprise there were many food options even for vegetarian people, which we appreciated. Good price for good food.

Authentic Padang Cuisine, Truly the Best! Every dish was delicious, rich in authentic flavors and spices. Our family favorites — rendang jering, minced beef curry, and beef spleen rendang — were all absolutely tasty and well-seasoned! The highlight was definitely their avocado juice — thick, creamy, and so satisfying! God willing, we’ll come again next time to try the tendon curry. The service was great too. Definitely worth it for fans of authentic Padang food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Compared to other nasi padang restaurants , this one taste the closest to minang food , the price is also reasonable for 4 pax which cost RM74 which is quite affordable as we took 2 piece of chicken and some sambal ijo beef. Staffs were also quite friendly just like the staffs in Indonesia but one of the downsides that i encountered is if you come during lunchtime then the sitting is quite hard to find as there's lots of people also coming for lunch and its quite packed. Overall , that's the only cons that i see, this restaurant exceeds my expectation , totally would recommend to friends and family

Had dinner here with friends. Sate Padang is nice but the sauce is lacking oommmph. Soto ayam was tasty & nice. More importantly, no bones! Just meat. Avocado juice was a bit too sweet for me though already asked for "kurang manis". Parking was difficult. However, there's a paid parking space nearby within walking distance.

Restaurant has been moved to the opposite side. Ayam kampung balado is good. They also serve kepiting

The hallmark of a restaurant that serves authentic cuisine is when the people of the country where the cuisine originates from, flock to that restaurant, sitting alongside people from the hosting country, enjoying the food served while visiting the host country. That sums up why you can be rest assured that this restaurant serves authentic Indonesian Padang/Minang food. Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and we were lucky because we got a car park spot right in front of the restaurant. Else parking is probably a bit challenging. At 10am, they already serve lunch food, together with the usual breakfast menu such as nasi gurih, bakwan and lontong sayur. Price wise it's pretty standard for KL - the cost for 3 people having a satisfying meal and drinks was about RM70. Try the bandrek susu - a spiced (with cinnamon, aniseed etc) ginger drink with milk thats sweet and soothing. Seems like many Indonesians - tourists and expats alike - like to come here too.

This shop is famous for its padang cuisine in Indonesia, the first time I came here I saw a lot of choices of side dishes available to eat. What I took, tasted delicious. Especially the red sambal and green sambal. Parking depends on luck. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's hard to find.
